MōMI Vitamin C Serum
MōMI Vitamin C Serum is our “Powerhouse” product. It is packed with essential antioxidants, like THD Ascorbate, Ferulic Acid, Vitamin E, and Bakuchiol to help protect your skin from sun damage caused by free radicals. THD Ascorbate, which is 50X more effective than most Vitamin C serums, aids in the anti aging properties of this serum by helping to boost collagen production and lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It helps fade hyper-pigmentation, reduce redness, and even out skin tone. But most amazing is skin brightening. Don’t forget to follow up with a SPF during the day.
The Power of MōMI Retinol
Fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging of the skin are all part of the natural process of aging, mainly due to a loss of collagen. This loss of collagen in the face is what causes the skin to lose its firmness, hence the aging process. Therefore, it is imperative to add retinol to your skincare routine. Retinol, a type of retinoid, works deep in the dermis layer by neutralizing free radicals and boosting the production of elastin and collagen. This helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Simultaneously, retinol exfoliates the skin’s surface, which further improves texture and tone.
Retinol can be irritating to the skin, therefore we ask that you start slow, using it once a week, and then slowly building up to using it every other day.
Bakuchiol, an Ayurverdic Alternative
Bakuchiol extract is derived from the plant Psoralea corylifolia. It has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurverdic medicine. This ingredient not only has tremendous antioxidant properties that protects the skin from free radicals, but also has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, making it highly unique. In addition, Bakuchiol is a natural, non-irritating alternative to retinol. A recent study in the British Journal of Dermatology found that Bakuchiol works just as well as retinol when it comes to signs of skin aging, but it is less irritating to the skin.
We have added Bakuchiol to the Vitamin C serum and Retinol serum, making both products highly effective, and “multitasking” so you don’t have to!
